A mobility platform speeds up driver sign-up with CPF validation
How a mobility and transport platform can speed up driver sign-up and block invalid documents by validating CPF in real time at onboarding.
The challenge
A mobility platform signs up new drivers constantly and relies on the speed of that flow to grow supply. At the same time, it must ensure every driver is a real person with a valid document, for rider safety and to meet insurer requirements. Sign-ups with an invalid CPF or a deceased holder slipped through and only surfaced later, during audits.
The solution
Real-time CPF validation was added right at the start of driver sign-up. The system confirms the CPF format and registration status and cross-checks name and date of birth before moving on to license and vehicle documents. Drivers with regular data proceed uninterrupted; inconsistencies halt the flow before they cost document-review time.
Results
- CPF validated up front, before the document and vehicle step.
- Sign-ups with an invalid or deceased-holder document blocked at the source.
- Less rework for the review team, which receives pre-validated applications.
- A more reliable driver base for safety and insurance requirements.
Validating the CPF in the very first step avoids spending document review on a sign-up that should never have advanced.
